Cookie Policy
This page is maintained by MechanicX and explains the cookies and browser storage the app uses. It is app-owned content, not an independent audit. Questions: admin@mechanicx.co.uk.
Our approach
MechanicX does not sell data to advertisers. We use strictly necessary items to sign you in and keep the app secure, and functional items that remember your preferences and protect unsaved work; these do not need consent. Optional analytics and marketing cookies are off until you choose to allow them in our cookie banner. Your choice — accept or reject — is remembered for 12 months, after which, or if this policy changes, we ask again.

Local storage and offline data
MechanicX is installable as a web app. When installed, the browser may cache application files and some workspace data on your device so it loads quickly and tolerates poor signal. Signing out or uninstalling the app clears this data.
Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings, or use private browsing. Blocking strictly necessary items will prevent you from signing in and using MechanicX. Clearing functional items only resets your preferences.
To change or withdraw your choice for optional cookies at any time, open . Withdrawing stops further analytics and marketing, deletes their cookies from this browser and reloads the page.
